Upon exposure to light, a photoreaction occurs turning the trivalent ferric iron into divalent ferrous iron. The sheet is then saturated with ammonium ferric citrate solution and dried. The blueprint process starts off with a photosensitive ferric compound, usually the widely used ammonium ferric citrate and potassium ferricyanide. The blueprints presented as negative drawings or illustrations of the original as white lines on a blue background. First used in 1842, the blueprinting process enabled quick and accurate reproduction of specification drawings in the construction and building industry. Historically, blueprints were literally blueprints and were made to reproduce technical drawings through a contact print process on light-sensitive paper. ![]() In this guide, we will dig deeper into how you can read a construction blueprint, what information is typically included in it and its effect on the planning process. For that reason, it is essential that everyone involved in the construction process is able to understand a construction plan. There are many different types of construction blueprints and some can be significantly more perplexing than others. On top of that, construction plans offer a detailed overview of the project’s scope to the people on site, as it includes a number of vital information such as quality specifications, building codes, and measurements. Therefore, every tradesman, subcontractor, and contractor will need a lesson on reading blueprints before they start their careers. In fact, anyone that tries to skip this step is going to find that their work will not be done properly, nor will they ever be good at their job. These details are needed to request permits, determine the construction schedule, and eventually do the construction itself.Įvery construction worker needs to know how to read blueprints. Please see this Kandji support article to understand which Parameters are being transitioned and what action is required by Kandji administrators. Parameters are in the process of being transitioned to library items. Use the toggle next to the Parameter you wish to turn on to activate it.įor additional information on Parameters, see the Parameters section of our Knowledge Base. Use the search option or scroll to locate the Parameter you would like to turn on or off. Click Parameters in the Blueprint navigation. To turn on or turn off a Parameter, follow these steps: Some Parameters are as simple as "Don't allow the Guest user to log in." More complex parameters may require specific variables to be defined, such as applications that need to be blocked. Parameters are settings not contained in the MDM specifications that Kandji can manage. If you create a Blueprint from one of the provided templates, you can rename it, add additional library items, and turn Parameters on or off to align with your business needs.įor additional information on library items, see the Library section of our Knowledge Base. In warming conditions and especially during the summer, most snakehead anglers use lures. Photo courtesy of Caz Kenny Best Snakehead Fishing Lures Topwater frogs are a common lure pick for snakehead anglers. Conversely, a cold snap can weaken the bite on lures while live bait anglers suddenly do better. But this can vary quite a bit with weather patterns, and a sudden warm-up in the spring or fall can create great conditions for lure fishing when live bait worked best just days before. As a general rule of thumb lures tend to be more effective during the warmer months of the year and bait works best during the cooler months of the year. Snakeheads can be caught on both lures and live bait. Think of fishing for them like fishing for bass, but bigger, meaner, and more likely to swim into snags when hooked up. Snakeheads are big, ugly, and vicious, and often are hooked near heavy cover, so heavy line on a heavy rod with a stiff tip is in order.
